A.S Watersports are happy to be supporting the  AnglersAfloat meets the RNLI event at the Imperial Ground, Shelly Beach, Exmouth, Devon on the weekend of 17th May, a day of awareness for both the RNLI and kayak fishermen, with rescue demos by the RNLI throughout the day.

We will there with the big hitters in the kayak fishing world: Ocean Kayak and Wilderness systems who will be providing demos all day on the Saturday.

This will be a great opportunity to meet lots of like minded paddlers,Fishermen and women, to learn new skills and pass on knowledge already gained.

Raffle tickets will be on sale during the event with all proceeds going to the RNLI, first prize an Ocean Kayak Caper sit-on-top. This is a awesome prize catch! Generously donated by Johnson Outdoors.

The Rescue demos will take place out side the Life boat station on the sea front from about 9am until 1pm.

Then the tide will be in enough to demo all the latest and greatest Sit on tops and gear.

Demoing will be free but you will need to sign in with A.S Watersports at our stand. (between Ocean Kayak and Wilderness Systems)

Sunday 18th May will give all visitors a chance to fish a catch and release kayak fishing tournament, an entry fee will be charged, all monies being donated to the RNLI, this event is open to all, regardless of level of experience, you don't need to be an expert to compete, the idea being to have lots of fun, catch a few fish and learn from others, but most importantly raise lots of money for the RNLI.
