Thank you to everyone who
came and exhibited, and all who attended this years event, here are some
of the highlights:
Dagger Europe
The NEW Dagger RX caught
my eye and will be the new river/ play boat.
Also on show was a
Prototype called the approach. This looks to be an excellent general
purpose shape to bridge the gap between the Blackwater and the
something like a Perception Arc/ Dancer...
Perception
Perception have re-styled their
Scooter for 2006 launch. The new shape looks sleeker and more
refined.
Also of interest was the
Acadia Scout, a small/ junior touring boat
Pyranha
Pyranha had a large range
of demo boats on show...
...And a New 4Twenty on
show.
Valley
Valley had two new surf
kayaks. Above is the smooth cruisy design...
and above is the 'Rush'
which Sean Morley have been test piloting. The Rush is of the
airbourne variety of kayaks.
Jackson
Jackson had new river and
creek boats on show. Above are the Hero and Super hero, 2 sizes of
River/ creekers...
...And the Rocker is the
full on creeker.
Avoncraft had a new range
of sit-ons branded as 'Emotion'. Apparently made in the same place
as the Liquid Logic boats so build quality should be good.
Peak had every conceivable
boat to demo, including the New Astro and Flairs.
Yak have new kit.
Principally a couple of new cags in touring and whitewater, but also
two new buoyancy aids, designed along the lines of the American
low-slung styles.
