Hartland Quay to Lundy Island - A Classic Sea Paddle of the South West

Bideford Canoe Club undertook the classic Hartland Quay to Lundy Island paddle. One of the paddlers, Mitch Barclay, kindly provided some photos with which to report the trip. Their GPS read 12.8 miles on the way out, and 19 miles on the way back, as the tide was against them on their return and it was a bit "lumpy". Mitch commented that Lundy was very impressive as the Island was picturesque, unspoiled and only on our doorstep in the SW. A must do trip for all sea paddlers.
