During her trip she had a grand day out on the photogenic Egua River (Italy). These photos documenting the trip have just surfaced so check them out!

Lundy Island

Bideford Canoe Club undertook the classic Hartland Quay to Lundy Island paddle. One of the paddlers, Mitch Barclay, kindly provided some photos with which to report the trip. Their GPS read 12.8 miles on the way out, and 19 miles on the way back, as the tide was against them on their return and it was a bit "lumpy". Mitch commented that Lundy was very impressive as the Island was picturesque, unspoiled and only on our doorstep in the SW. A must do trip for all sea paddlers.

Piermonte

We had earmarked the first two weeks in May as the optimum time to return to the Piermonte and explore the creeks further to our trip in 2005. But as it turned out we arrived too early, with lots of snow in the mountains, not much rain and all the melt locked in. So a few days were spent scratching around for bedrock, base flow runs, contemplating, drinking wine, and sampling various cappuccinos and pastries in historic town squares.

Sean Morley

Sean Morley, having circumnavigated the UK in its entirety, is still out there looking for some action in his sea kayak. Below are some great photos he sent us, a couple of a recent trip to the bitches, and a couple of a dramatic tide race in France. As it is impossible to keep up with him, why not have a look at his site?

Tom & Leo

"With the Sierra Nevada snow pack at 250% of normal, and an unusually wet and cold spring, California in late April seemed not as good an idea as it had on a dark October night in the bar at the River Dart Country Park .

A Playboaters paradise; big water fun in the sun. A/S Shop oik Ewart, Friend of many Jason Scholey, and Product designer at Palm Equipment Tim Maud all went on a nice jolly to Uganda to get a taste for big water play. They had a lot of fun, here is some action on and off the water.
