We will also be stopping in Double Locks Pub on the way back so bring a couple pounds for your refreshment of choice! Introductory offer only! £35

*Sit On Top Guided Exe Day Trip 26th June -(Gentle Pace!) 11am - maybe your worried about not keeping up or you really just want to take in the views and wildlife. This day is going to be at a much slower place as we mosey on down the river!

Guided Exe Day trip:Perfect for Beginners!

A guided trip round the Exe Circuit, a beautiful round trip encompassing the River Exe, Exe Estuary and Exe Canal.

This trip take us off the beaten track and onto the quiet tidal section of the River Exe

We will be using 'Touring kayaks' these are designed to be comfortable and easy to paddle. You are able to choose from Sit In or Sit on Top kayaks.

We have also added Sit on Top only trips, even more stable than the traditional "Sit ins" allows you to really relax and enjoy the day

A relaxed trip with modern comfortable kayaks under the care and guidance of a qualified and experienced instructor. 

We start with a meet and greet at our Exeter shop then look at the boats and equipment.

On the water we will spend time looking at key skills and getting you comfortable. We will journey at a gentle pace, learning how to handle the boat en route.

The morning will be spent down the river Exe (avoiding the weirs) among beautiful settings and plenty of wildlife.

We travel through the reed beds on the Exe Estuary a haven for wild birds such as Egrets, Heron and a Curlews. After a good rest and some food at Topsham we will cross over to The Exe ship canal taking us back to the historic quay.

A full, rewarding, enjoyable day out.

Please bring a full pack lunch and plenty of fluids. The kayaks have plenty of storage and we will supply dry bags.
