Ecuador
In Jan 2012 I escaped the cold UK by signing up for two weeks paddling with "Small World Adventures" in Ecuador. A great mixture of sunny low volume creeking and misty big volume river running. Absolute bliss. My top five rivers have been well and truly re organised.

After being flooded off the Upper Jondachin we trekked back the next day to finish the river. This has topped my list of favourite rivers. |

I joined "Small World Adventures" for two weeks all inclusive trip. They boast a huge selection of kayaks, own a beautiful purpose built riverside lodge and they wrote the book on kayaking in Ecuador (literally, the team at SWA are the authors of the Ecuador White water Guide book). Though I travelled all the way to South America they'll make it as easy to organise as a blast down your local run. 100% reccomended. If you have any questions about the trip ping me a email at the shop.
