We recently teamed up with the guys and girls at Teignmouth Canoe Club, to put on a sea and touring kayak demo evening. We took a trailer load of boats down, so that they could try them out. The sheltered waters of the Teign estuary were a great testing ground, while the more experienced and braver paddlers could test boats in the thundering tidal race that was the entrance to the Teign estuary.
