Werner Sherpa Glass - Bent Paddle

Werner Sherpa glass bladed kayak paddle with carbon bent shaft.

The Sherpa has mid sized blades that suit a wide variety of paddlers. The balanced blades offer great catch and smooth long stokes, ideal for river runners and creek boaters. The neutral bent shaft offers a more ergonomic grip, for less fatigue and less strain on your wrists and arms.

New for winter 2013/14 the 'Crimson: Search' colour scheme, incorparating hidden images of paddlers. The Crimson: Search is available on the Werner Sherpa and Powerhouse glass bladed paddles now!

Having trouble deciding which construction, length and blade for you? Try the very handy online 'Werner Paddle Fit Guide' or give us a call for our expert advice!

Neutral Bent Shaft
Werners Neutral Bent Shaft is designed to alleviate stress and strain on your hands, wrist and forearms when you paddle.  This strain is usually caused by a previous injury, over gripping the paddle shaft and can be acute for those who paddle in rough water conditions where five fingers of contact to the shaft must be maintained. The key benefits that are unique to our Neutral Bent Shaft are; natural alignment of the wrist reducing strain and fatigue, stable leverage point during ALL stokes which increases comfort and an advanced grip that fits the natural contour of your hand. The slightly heavier shaft weight, when compared to a straight shaft, is offset by the ergonomic benefits.
